Clinical Trial Support Project
About clinical trial facility surveys
The Japanese Society of Neurological Therapeutics has decided to conduct a survey of clinical trial facilities at the request of companies in order to promote drug discovery for neurological diseases.
This survey is aimed at supporting companies to identify potential facilities and cases for participating in clinical trials when it is difficult to recruit subjects due to its rarity. This survey will investigate the number of patients and clinical trial experience at facilities of the Society's council members (mainly neurologists) upon request.
1. Eligible applicant organizations
Organizations that conduct clinical trials, such as pharmaceutical companies, emerging biopharma, academia, and CROs (Clinical Research Organizations), that are planning to or are currently conducting clinical trials.
2. Application
Please submit the following three items in Japanese according to the instruction in Japanese page
(URL): https://www.jsnt.gr.jp/trial_support_project/index.html
(1) Application Form
(2) Questionnaire
(3) Overview of the clinical trial
3. Approval of application
After the application is submitted, the responsible committee of our society (Drug Discovery Promotion Committee) will review whether or not to accept the survey. (The results of the review will be returned within about a week.) If the application is accepted, the doctor in charge will be notified, so please consult/interview the doctor if necessary.
4. Conducting the survey
A survey email will be sent to our council members. (Google Form will be used).
If there are multiple council members at the same facility, we will ask the representative to respond. The deadline will be set at about two weeks, and we will also send reminder emails during that time.
5. Reporting of survey results
The secretariat will compile the survey results, and after final confirmation by the responsible committee, we will hand over the data. The data will be handed over as raw data (a spreadsheet compiled in Google Forms converted to Excel). The data will be handed over approximately one week after the survey closes.
6. Research Expenses
The cost of each investigation is 300,000 yen (excluding tax).
(This includes one consultation before and one after the investigation.)
After the investigation is completed, we will issue an invoice (electronic document) along with the data. In addition to the above, if you would like advice on the contents of the clinical trial plan or on regulatory application and approval, an additional 200,000 yen (excluding tax) will be charged per clinical trial.
